Pack or deliver holiday gift bags this Chanukkah for seniors, people with disabilities, or families facing financial hardship.

Package or prepare groceries and meals or sort bulk goods for Christmas and New Years'.

San Francisco/Peninsula:

Art in Action
Based in Redwood City, Art in Action seeks to provide equal access to quality and meaningful art education for K-8 students. There are a range of opportunities, including in-classroom volunteering, but we are also uniquely located to volunteer at their main warehouse packing Art Boxes to ship to schools are supplemental curricula. 

GLIDE ^ * &
Tenderloin-based, GLIDE serves meals and provides community ambassadorship. 

Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly SF &
Work to end loneliness and isolation in our elderly community.

Project Open Hand *
Assemble and prepare meals and groceries to critically ill neighbors and seniors.

Rebuilding Together San Francisco +
The SF branch of an organization rooted in the idea of neighbors-helping-neighbors, specifically in home repair and safety upgrades. 

Refuse Refuse & + 
San Francisco trash cleanups and beautification projects. Volunteer roles can vary from cleanup crew to graphic design or handing out flyers. 

SF-Marin Food Bank * @
Provide groceries to community members. Drivers are always needed, but there are other means of involvement.

East Bay:

Alameda County Community Food Bank *
Sort and pack foods in the food bank warehouse or help distribute food to the community. 

Rebuilding Together East Bay Network +
A local offshoot of a national organization, RTEBN works to keep underserved members of the East Bay safe and in their homes. 

North Bay:

Community Action of Napa Valley (CANV) * 
CANV covers an array of services in the Napa area: Meals on Wheels, a food bank, and pre-k childcare, to name a few. 

SF-Marin Food Bank * @
Provide groceries to community members. Drivers are always needed, but there are other means of involvement. For those in Marin, there are options closer to home.

South Bay:

Martha's Kitchen *
Providing meals with dignity to Santa Clara and San Benito Counties.

Second Harvest of Silicon Valley *
Multiple locations in South Bay. Most of the volunteer options are food sorting or distribution.
