TWU Local 784 I.A.T.S.E. Motion Picture & Television Referral Procedures

Local 784 maintains a Referral List of Motion Picture & Television (MPT) workers. The Local 784 MPT Referral List will be provided upon request. To be included on the Local 784 MPT Referral List:

• The worker must reside within the jurisdiction of, or have prior work history with, Local 784. If you cease to reside within the jurisdiction after establishing your placement on the Local 784 MPT Referral List, you may retain your placement on the Local 784 MPT Referral List.
•  It is the Worker’s responsibility to keep the Local office informed of accurate address and phone information. 
•  The worker must meet all applicable financial and other obligations to the Local. 
•  Any 784 worker who wishes to work in MPT must submit a completed TWU Local 784 Worker Information Form and a current resume to the Union office.

TWU Local 784, I.A.T.S.E. Commercial Costumer/Stylist Referral Procedures

Work on commercials is by direct hire. Local 784 maintains a Referral List of qualified commercial costumers/stylists for work on commercials. The Local 784 Commercial Costumer/Stylist Referral List will be provided upon request following the standards set forth in the Commercial Production Agreement by and between the I.A.T.S.E. and the A.I.C.P. To be included on the Local 784 Commercial Costumer/Stylist Referral List:

• The worker must reside within the jurisdiction of, or have prior work history with Local 784. If you cease to reside within the jurisdiction after establishing your placement on the Local 784 Commercial Costumer/Stylist Referral List, you may retain your placement on the Local 784 Commercial Costumer/Stylist Referral List.
• It is the Workers responsibility to keep the Local office informed of accurate address and phone information.
• The worker must meet all applicable financial and other obligations to the Local.
• The worker must submit a completed TWU Local 784 Worker Information Form and a current resume to the Union office.
• The worker must have proof of 3 paid work histories with commercial employer(s) within Local 784’s jurisdiction to qualify for referral on the Local 784 Commercial Referral List.
